Senior Center
The LMSC is Pawtucket’s leading resource for information providing programs and benefits to older adults 60 and older. The Senior Center also provides health and wellness activities to persons aged 55 and over. Its mission is to identify Pawtucket’s older adults and provide them with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can access information about resources, programs, and services available on the local, state, and federal levels.
The center acts as an advocate for the rights and well-being of older adults on a wide variety of issues.
The program and services offered at the LMSC are funded in part by the City of Pawtucket Community Development Block Grant Program, RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services, Office of Healthy Aging, RI Designated Grant, the U.S. Administration for Community Living, donations from the community, and through our membership fees.
