Nesselbush<\/strong><\/b> was appointed as the Associate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Pawtucket in 2004. She was elevated to the position of Chief Judge on April 25, 2012, and she has served in that capacity ever since. \u00a0<\/p><p>Chief Judge Nesselbush\u00a0is a 1984 graduate of Brown University, where she received the Sarah Doyle Prize \u201cfor having made a significant contribution to women on campus and in the community.\u201d She graduated\u00a0<em>cum laude<\/em>\u00a0from Suffolk University School of Law, where she was selected to write for the Law Review, and was also awarded the Leo J. Wyman Award for having \u201ccontributed most to advancing the civic and professional responsibilities of a lawyer.\u201d She currently also serves as\u00a0Rhode Island State Senator from Pawtucket. Chief Judge Nesselbush has been a Pawtucket resident for over 30 years, and in October 2014, she was honored to be selected as Pawtucket\u2019s first \u201cPerson of the Year\u201d at the city&#8217;s Hall of Fame celebration for her work on the marriage equality legislation.<\/p><p>Chief Judge Nesselbush is a founding partner of the law firm of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.m-n-law.com\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.m-n-law.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1485880689270000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHePt_ZzgPGetJCoJyFItDQOhwqwQ\">Marasco &amp; Nesselbush<\/a>, a Rhode Island law firm serving the injured and disabled. She and her firm have\u00a0represented thousands of injured Rhode Islanders in all of the state&#8217;s trial courts and thousands of Social Security Disability claimants at all levels of review before the Social Security Administration.\u00a0She is a founder and the Chair of the Rhode Island Bar Association\u2019s Social Security Disability Committee.\u00a0She is an active member of the American and Rhode Island Associations for Justice as well as a \u201cSustaining Member\u201d of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants\u2019 Representatives. Gannon\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University, Boston Massachusetts. in 1981 with a BS in Criminal Justice. In 1985, Judge Gannon received his Juris Doctor from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, Concord, New Hampshire. He has been an active member of the Rhode Island Bar Association since 1986 and the Massachusetts Bar Association since 2006.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the exception of college and law school, Judge Gannon has lived in Pawtucket his entire life. He is the managing partner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbdvlaw.com\/\">Gannon Bailey Donovan &amp; Votolato PC<\/a>. In 1992 he was appointed by Mayor Robert E. Metivier as the Pawtucket City Solicitor and served until 1998. From 2004-2010 he was appointed to\u00a0the Central Falls City Solicitor. In 2011 Judge Gannon served as the Director of Administration for the City of Pawtucket.\u00a0On February 6, 2013, he was appointed to\u00a0the Associate Municipal Court Judge in Pawtucket.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to this appointment he served as the Acting Probate Judge for both the city of Pawtucket and Central Falls.\u00a0In addition to managing his law firm, and serving as the Associate Justice for Pawtucket, Judge Gannon has served as Legal Counsel for the East Providence Personnel Board, the Rhode Island House of Representatives Labor Committee, and Legal Counsel for the Pawtucket, Central Falls and Cumberland Zoning Boards.\u00a0Judge Gannon is an active member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, the New England Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association.
